Ava Josephine Barbaro was born at 3:57 PM on Monday, September 10, 2007. She was 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 20" long. She was very easy for Erin (with the help of an epidural) and came after approximately 35 minutes of pushing and at least 12 hours of hard labor. Both Erin and Ava are doing very well. They will be home tomorrow afternoon. More details and pictures to come!!!.....

Congratulations! I LOVE her name! And I'm super-excited that you have a little girl, too. Way to go, Erin -- you've survived labor and delivery! (I'll look forward to hearing your story when Ava starts sleeping more than an hour at a time!)
Congrats guys, and good luck with the next couple weeks! Just remember that once she smiles for the first, you'll forget all the hard work and sleep deprivation.
