Down on the Farm

Last night we attended the annual Parents as Teachers activity "Down on the Farm". Ava is really too young to enjoy the myriad of activities but we went anyway and had fun. They had a real pony to sit on and many animals to pet including: snakes, iguanas, kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, frogs, fish, turtles, chickens, goats, puppies, etc. There were many other fun activities such as digging worms out of a big dirt pile, milking a particle board cow, pushing around toy lawn mowers, hanging up clothes on a line, it was a regular chore exposition! I'm excited to go next year when Ava can really enjoy it. We met a co-worker there whose daughter is nearly exactly a year old than Ava. She was squealing left and right from all the excitement.
