We had the opportunity to tour the John Deere factory on Friday. We've been talking about taking my grandparents, retired farmers, to John Deere in Moline, IL where Mike's dad recently retired. We finally did it! We toured the combine factory, went to corporate headquaters, and went to the John Deere Commons. We also went to an interesting show room set up like an old John Deere retailer and repair shop. It has a kid's section with soft John Deere implements to climb on. I set Ava down with these toy tractors for a photo opp but she really got into playing with them and kept herself entertained for quite a while. 
Ava made out like a bandit, acquiring a John Deere ball and John Deere socks. She laid her cutness on pretty thick in the gift shops with her Nana and Great-Grandma.
